TOOLS
From Left to Right: Nissin Foods' official website, CUPNOODLES MUSEUM Osaka and its online reservation page (2021).
During the wireframe design phase for the online reservation system, we considered displaying three separate calendars to allow users to choose dates for different workshop types. To enhance clarity and usability, we decided to consolidate the three calendars into a single, unified calendar view.
The first approach would clutter the interface and create visual confusion with multiple navigation arrows.
This design simplified the visual layout, making it easier for users to navigate and book workshops efficiently.
Wireframe screens (finalized design).
To highlight selected dates, we transformed the selector into a distinctive red CUPNOODLES cup, creating an instant visual connection to the brand. Color-coded dots beneath each date indicate workshop availability, allowing visitors to quickly scan options and plan their visit with ease.
To make browsing seamless, we introduced a swipe interaction that let users effortlessly scroll through workshop time slots with a simple gesture. This intuitive design not only streamlined the booking process but also infused the digital experience with the playful spirit of the museum.
I designed dedicated landing pages for each workshop - My CUPNOODLES Factory, Demae Iccho Factory, and My Granola Factory. Each featured custom branding elements, from tailored color palettes to product-specific pattern, creating distinct identities while maintaining cohesive brand consistency throughout the digital experience.
I established a comprehensive design system that unified the digital experience. From typography and color schemes to buttons and iconography, every component reflected the brand's playful energy. This systematic approach ensured visual consistency across all touchpoints while streamlining development and enabling future scalability.
